I just stumbled onto this site and it seams pretty informative. I have been smoking for a couple years and started with an inexpensive offset that I purchased from Academy to try smoking meat out. I got hooked instantly and I have recently upgraded to a vertical stye smoker built by southern syle smoker in Archille Ok. It is the 18" patio cooker that was given to me and so far it is working pretty darn good. I have plans on building a new one but just haven't completely decided on what style to build. I am constantly trying different ways of smoking and thought this site would give me more idea's.
