A great big friendly HOWDY Y'ALL from Kingmac here in Live Oak. I have been a great fan of BBQ using primarily charcoal and/or wood. I have a big grill with an offset firebox making it ideal for smoking.

Some time ago, I bought an electric smoker and have used it on numerous occasions, And just about six months ago I purchased a Char-Broil Big Easy Propane grill for grilling, smoking, and oil free frying. I have used it for grilling and smoking, and it works pretty well.

Today I am going to smoke bacon wrapped chicken thighs using Jeff's naked rib rub, and some fingerling potatoes.

I also have a Char-Broil four burner propane grill which has sat idle under a cover for over a year.

Hello.  Not exactly sure where you are BUT I've been there; and more than once.  Kids graduated from O.G.  Originally from Mathis.  Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with when asking the question such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!
