  1. I excited to find this site. I'm always looking for something new to try and to improve on what I'm doing.

I use a 3/16 thick, horizontal, pipe type smoker. Approximately, 18" diameter and 30" long with a fire box. Same diameter and 18" long. It was made in Uvalde, Texas. My wife bought it for me for Valentines Day, about 8 years ago.

I look forward to learning new recipes and techniques and meeting some new friends.
  2. Howdy Willie! And welcome to the site I'm actually right down the road from you in fentress, tx! Have fun perusing the site lots of cool stuff on here!

Here's a bit of reading to help you out starting wood burning. I just thought that with all that Post Oak there, you might logically use that instead of that stinky Charcoal?

Welcome to the Family , have fun and as always . . .
  5. Hello Willie and welcome to SMF! Glad you found us and joined the "smoking family"!
