Hello, everybody! I'm Phil. A few weeks ago, my father-in-law gave me a cheap charcoal Smoke-n-grill that he couldn't sell at his garage sale. I've been smoking something different every weekend since. On Black Friday, Ace hardware had a special deal on 30" Masterbuilt electric smokers and my wife talked me into getting it. Anyway, here I am, wanting to learn the finer points of meat smoking. I live in Dewey, AZ.:grilling_smilie:

Welcome from SC, Phil. This is a really great site with lots of good folks who are always eager to share their ideas and tips. All you have to do is ask and keep reading. If your wife talked you into buying a smoker, I know a ton of guys that would like to rent her.
