This seems like it's a forum where introductions are done (some are, some aren't), so ...

Hi.
I'm originally from MI and DC, but married the only Aussie who doesn't BBQ/grill.

I'm new to smoking, but am loving it. Actually, proper smoking is starting to get a foot hold down here, so finding supplies has been easier in the past year.
I will admit to cheating. I use a gas smoker. I know I don't have the patience (yet) to babysit a proper fire. I'll get there.

Good morning and welcome to the forum from another beautiful day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Great to have ya.. You may have 3 or more smokers in the next 10 years. This gets to be a full on hobby often.

Be safe there and have fun.

Huh....I know that Aussies have all kinds of nicknames for each other depending on where they're from which normally make sense but that one puzzled me.Thanks kuranda
