Hi Everyone,

I'm new around here, but I thought I'd introduce myself with pics from my BBQ last night. I did pulled pork, brisket (flat), chicken boobies, and ABT's. Pictures speak louder than words, so here they are:

Rubbed up and ready to go on at 6:30 am:

All done!

I shredded the pork after this pic, but because we were pretty busy with guests, I didn't have time to take pics. It was so juicy and tender. Look at how cleanly that bone pulled out!

Just a request though , I see several smokers from Ontario here , Mayby you all can get together durring the wintertime and do some smokes at the same time ? Like when you see that wind blowing twards the SE from you guys , fire up your smokers en-mass so when I'm shoveling that lake effect snow here in Syr NY , mayby I can get a wiff of smoke to go with it

Usually swing by the duty free when crossing the border for a bottle of Rye , so an extra couple - three would be no trouble as a repayment for smoked meat smelling snow

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome here. This forum has been a great resource already, and I'm sure I'll be posting more q-views later as I enjoy photography.

1894, I'll be sure to get some smoke headed your way in the winter. I'm looking forward to making some bacon in the smoker once it gets cold enough for a cold smoke.

Dan welcome to SMF glad your here. Great smoke yesterday

Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard dan! You may be new to this forum, but its obvious you know your way around a smoker!! Glad you joined us!

Hey a local! Where do you get most of your BBQ goodies up here? I'm fairly new to the area, so I do most of my shopping around where I work (in Vaughan).

Thanks again everyone! I don't think I've ever joined a forum that had such a big welcome party for newbies. It feels like home already. :)

Got the smoker at Bass Pro and get my wood chunks from Lowes. Lowes in the US actually..cheaper than Cdn lowes.
