I'm from Alberta, Canada and just found your forum. I really wish I wouldn't have because I've just went to the store to purchase a whole bunch of stuff to smoke and hope it all turns out LOL. I'm a newby to smoking, and I use my Vermont Castings Grill. Thank you to everyone for all the information on this useful forum!

Welcome to the SMF from across the rocks Here in BC. Did some farming in Alberta in the 1960's , the only place on earth where you sink up to your butt in mud and dust blows in your face. Our farm/ranch was 147mi north of Edmonton. Didn't like the cold winters so moved back to the Okanagan.
My Kin still live in Edmonton, gawd knows why.
