North East Florida
Hello from North Florida!

I am very interested in learning and trying different techniques for the use of my grill/smoker. I have a Professional Char-Grill/Smoker that I use often and really enjoy it.

I not a cook by any means so that is why I am here to learn.

aboard.   Check out the North Fla. group.  Gathering is scheduled for April over near Quincy.  Great bunch of folks here who are really helpful when you have questions.

I should have posted as North East Florida. I live south of Jacksonville and east of Gainsville, in the  small town of Interlachen.

I searched the internet for ideas on smoking different meats and found this site. It appears it will be the answer to most of my questions. I am by far not a cook and never have been. However I am always willing to learn and I have really enjoyed the few items I have smoked, turkey, rids, and steak. As I pointed out, I am not a cook but I love to eat so maybe I have found my calling for both.

Welcome to SMF - you will find lots of great ideas here

Thanks for the warm welcome and good advice on subjects to explore. As I have indicated I am by far not a cook but I do love to eat so I figure the best way to eat what I like is to learn for myself how to prepare it.
