Hello Fellow Smokers!

    Just joined SMF today after searching for an answer to a particular question regarding Fresh (Raw) Hams. I live near Aiken, South Carolina, and got into smoking about 3 years ago. I wore out my effective, but poorly constructed first smoker ( a gas powered model from Home Depot) and after much consternation went with a Pit Barrel Cooker. Among other things, I'm an NRA Pistol Instructor, and as of TODAY am eating and smoking pork that I raised. How cool is that!
