Hey all!
My name is Seth. My nickname is Phoenix Rocket. I am 29 and from Ky. I am a radio personality and student pursing teaching.
I have been smoking for about 3 years. Mostly pork butts but have done some short ribs, chicken, and turkey.
I started on cheap vertical smokers before upgrading to an offset Oklahoma Joe and I love it. It's so much easier to maintain temps brush sauce on the meat etc.
I have found my love for smoking has helped me with a battle that I fight with depression and anxiety. It gives me something I can be proud of and something that takes my mind off of whatever is bothering me that day.
I am thankful I found this community and hope you accept me and I'm sure my millions of questions. I'm sure I haven't done everything right as I maneuver my way through the world of smoking but I'm always willing to learn and adapt and make food that myself and fellow smokers would be proud to serve.
