Hi everyone I'm new to the site and pretty new to smoking. I've owned my 18"wsm for about 8-9 months now and have done fairly well, but always always looking to up my game. As well as share my few experiences and knowledge I've picked up thus far. I live in northeast Ohio and will be doing a pork butt tomorrow getting ready for football on Sunday. If anyone have any advice I would appreciate it. Also I have already purchased Jeff's book via Amazon can't wait till it arrives.

Awalk, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and looking to perfect your skills on one of the best smokers available (I'm biased as you can tell).

Have fun with the pork butt tomorrow, one of the absolutely easiest and most forgiving cuts of meat in the smoking world.  Low n slow, hot n fast, or a mix of both, it won't care and will come out delicious.  Put it on and let it do its thing.  Only advice I have is don't be afraid to tweak the flavor after the smoke, but only if it needs it.  Oh, and don't forget the "finishing sauce."  Chef JJ's is my favorite.  Never leave pulled pork without it!  (You can easily halve the ingredients and still have plenty because it doesn't take much on the meat).
