Hi everyone,
My name is Brian and I live in the BBQ capital of the world, Kansas City. Now that I have probably pissed of half of you let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised here in KC. Moved to Chicago for a few years and then back. I am married with a couple of kids.
A couple of friends and I started a competition team a few years ago and try to do 2 to 3 comps per year. We are called Smokey Treat BBQ. No 1st place finishes yet but we did place 9th out of 184 teams in Pork Butt at the Lenexa, KS Competition.
I use a WSM 22.6. Our team has 2 of those and 1 18.5. We have been thing about doing a build at some point and I see that there is lots of info here for that.
I am just looking for good people to talk Que with and bounce ideas off of.
