Jason here from Georgia. I grew up in Texas smoking all kinds of meats, from beef to venison and hog to chickens. I currently reside 20 mins outside of Athens GA. My smoker is Old Country Wrangler I use pecan, oak, cherry, mesquite and hickory to smoke with, depending on the meat and the flavor I'm looking to get out of the meat. I make my own rubs, sauces, injections and marinades. Going to try my hand at the amateur smoking competitions around the area soon.
