Hi everyone I live in the Pacific NW .

Looking for a new type of smoker I had two Treagers and had a bad expierence with their customer support so they are on the back burner .
Looking forward to receiving recommendations on different types of smokers

Welcome RT40.  Sorry to hear about your Traeger experience.  Nothing worse than bad customer service.

If there is one thing people love here it is their smokers, so I'm sure you'll get lots of input on what people love.  The more information you can give about what you're looking for and how you like to smoke, the better the input.  Are you a set and forget kind of guy?  Like heavy smoke flavor or light?  Low temp only or a wide variety of temps for different meats?  Separate grillin' and smoking equipment or all-in-one?  Ready supply of cooking wood or big box suppliers for charcoal/wood chunks?  Smoking for a small group or large gatherings?  What's your budget?  If there's one thing I've learned here is there is a smoker for everyone's needs and budget.  Lots of friendly folks to give solid advice.

Glad you're here!
