Hello everyone. My wife got me a smoker for christmas. A brinkman vertical. I was able to get it a week early to allow me to season it so i could do my first real cook on it. So today, christmas day, I woke up early and fired it up and proceeded to smoke two small pork shoulders. They hit 200 in about five and a half hours and they are currently wrapped and resting in the cooler. I did sneak a little taste and i must say it was fantastic. I have you guys to thank for making my very first cook turn out so well. I figured it was time to come out of lurker status and say hello.

So, Hello all.

Chris
