Pampa Texas
Hello everyone Im new to this thread. Been smoking for about three years now.Began with a small cheap smoker fromw sears and I was hooked. I always smoked for friends and family and everyone told me I had something good going with my bbq. They told me I needed to enter a competion and was scared to at first. But this Saturday in pampa there was a cook off, we had to smoke two briskets and it was people choice. Everyone got tickets and they dropped them in a basket if they voted for our brisket. Well Im happy to say in my very first smoke off we WON FIRST PLACE BABY! With 368 votes. Everyone else had 100 or so votes. We kicked ass. People were wanting to know where we were located and if we caterd. One had one guy wanting to buy everything we had left. But there was nothing left. We finished two 12 pounds of brisket. It was an awsome day yesterday. But so begins A & A's bbq journey. Wish us luck!!
