A friend just gave me his Smoky Mountain smoker. I immediately started to search the web for some guidance. Presto! I'm here.

One problem already. I have tried to copy-n-paste Jeff's articles and, they show up on my "WORD" page a weak gray text. And, I cannot change the font color in the same way I always choose text color. It's like locked-in! How can I get a good BLACK text?

This site already has me consumed with information overload. I will be here regularly until I understand the terminology and am producing some fine smoked food for my Louisiana folks!

Feels good to be here.
