I haven't had time to do any smoking lately with our 2 month old daughter, and this project I've been working on. I was getting tired of the existing garden fence and wanted something permanent and more visually pleasing So, for the past couple weeks, I've been slaving away on a new fence. I cut all the pickets down from 48" to 40" (all 250 of the damn things), then notched out the gothic look into them with a drill press and hole saw because when I bought them they were just pointed and thought that looked kinda bland. Then I sanded them down some, and sealed them all. It took forever, but I'm glad I took the time to do it right. Should last me for a long time. I even made the garden about 8 feet wider while I was at it. Was a little cramped for space last season. Not it is right at 30' x 40'. Luckily I only had to do 3 sides since I have chain link running along that edge of the yard. Can't wait to plant in a couple weeks!!!
