Been lurking a while, finally joined. Getting to where I smoke everyweekend. Took a vacation day today just to chop an 8ft truck bed full of hickory. Tomorrow have plans to have the smoker rolling all day, ABT's, Albondigas (first time smoking them), chicken breast to make a smoky tortilla and chicken soup, and a couple of fatties.
Glad to be here ... I'm always looking for new things to smoke.

Glad ta have ya! Sounds like yer already wallowin in the throughs of the smokin addiction! Taint nothin ta do now but smoke more to ease the pain! And a whole load a hickory eh?! Now that means the smoke gods be smillin at ya!

Where ya live, ya outa have lots of critters available to smoke, get a a nice young wild lady pig and make bacon, hams, ribs and roasts, then grind up the rest fer sausage! Stick round us long enough, you'll have the neighbors hangin round all the time eatin yer fine vittles and talkin yer arm off, it is truly a dyin art well worth followin, I find the addiction calms my nerves and provides for fine family time. Good luck and good smokes!

Welcome to the forum. I'm just over the border in Gore Oklahoma. Lots of good folks and TONS of knowledge here. Good luck and good smokin'

There is one here that's okay, Rooster's BBQ. Acutally, it's pretty good for this part of the country. Only other one that's close is the RIB CRIB in Branson ... but nothing to write home about.
