Ground caraway or whole for Kabanosy????

    I've seen both ground and whole toasted caraway used to make these guys. I use whole toasted which are very good but just curious why some folks grind the caraway?? [​IMG]

    I use whole. Careful as to much will over power the meat.

    I used 1/2t for a 2.2# batch and it wasn't over bearing. Is that the ratio you used or do you add more or less??
