Not 100% sure what the cut is, my wife bought the meat and I'm not that great at picking out what it was. It had more marbling on it than a sirloin, but it wasn't a ribeye.

Here's the progression:

Seasoned it with a little celery salt, paprika, and fresh ground pepper

On the grill immediately after flipping; smoke box had oak chips in it (actually Jack Daniel's chips made from used aging barrels)

After taking them off the grill, about to cover with foil and let sit for 10 minutes or so:

Fantastic.

Paul is right, definitely a Strip steak. New Yowk if you prefer.

I have cooked literally thousands and thousands of steaks in my restaurant days and I gotta say those look great, beautiful pink center.
Glad you let them rest, one big mistake some folks make (at home and in the restaurants) is to pull it off the flame and cut right into it but you did damn good with the temp and rest.

Like everyone has said you have some strip steaks. You did quite a fine job of grilling there I like the pink centers. In fact I did a couple of rib eyes last night.
