This afternoon gonna grill up some burgers and abt's ...

 abt's

jalapenos and poblano peppers

1 lb sweet Italian sausage, browned and drained

1  oz brick of Phillie cream cheese softened

1 cup grated parm cheese

1 pack center cut bacon

( some bacon wrapped, some not ) some just topped with american cheese ...



burgers, just mixed with sp and some diced up Vidaia onions ....big  1/2 pounders though,

And a fresh loaf of Cuban bread     



Just grilled slow with  Kingsford on my Char Griller ..

loaded up and started


burgers .... all done and look nice ...


abt' s

Yes, we always make burgers tis way .... sometimes use french bread as well .  usually add a fried egg as  well... that makes the perfect burger ...

Wife packed my lunch for tomorrow .... 1 burger and last 3 abt's ....thanks all, was a good BBQ .. didn't realize that it was on the carousel ... till this afternoon ...

Thanks pit 4 brains ... Where we grew up in southwest pa .. there was a convenience store that made burgers , fries, etc, that would make the burgers like this, then lay the long bread next to the burger, slice it as long as the burger, and was great ... so, this is how me and Mrs has been making homemade burgers like this ... today is our 35th anniversary ... so, we have been makin burgers long for a while ... thanks for the points as well ......

Kudos on the long form of the burger meat, we actually do that for cookouts to save on buying hamburger and hot dog buns!
Kids like em too.
