How's everyone doing? My name is Paul and when I'm not smoking meats I'm probably on the golf course. Just started this last year how to smoke meats on a Primo and I am addicted for sure. I currently use a Brickman grill/smoker, would love to learn the best way to turn it into a nicer smoker that will last a while. This spring I saw parillas in South America and want to learn how to turn a smoker into a parilla if at all possible. Looking forward to learning a lot on here!

Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have, and pictures help a bunch.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  Check out Jeff’s 5 day smoking E-Course ( link below ) that will help you get started.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Hello and welcome.  You need to really put a lot of thought in what you want. It's hard to have one unit do everything you want efficiently . I said hard not impossible, several members on here have built some awesome combo units, but they put a lot of thought and planning into their builds
