Hello to all. My name is Jerry and I am excited about joining your site. I just purchased my first electric smoker from Cabelas. It has been fun learning about smoke and the process. We have made chicken, ribs, butt roast and wings so far and have loved them all. My wife doesn't care for real smoky flavor so am going cautiously. Last week I bought the Smoking Meat cookbook and Jeff's sauce and rub recipe so am ready for the next step. I am looking forward to learning and sharing with all of you. Thanks

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.
David

Thanks for the great replies. One problem I see already is that there are only three meals in the day :). Going to try the salmon candy and smoked rib eye this weekend. Safe smoking to all!

Thanks. Am enjoying trying stuff The candy salmon turned out really good. I am a walleye guy so need to tap one of my Lake Michigan buds to get a salmon to do. Ice cold Landshark, walleye on the jigging rod and a piece of smoked salmon. Now that is good
