Glad to have finally joined the Smoke ring. Great site lots of info about important stuff. I have built 2 offsets in the past, and both are still in use after 5 or 6 years. I built both from scratch with scrap and no direction or knowledge. As well as a bit of the booze. 1 is a run of the mill offset, the other is Propane tanks model with firebox(cylindrical) on the rear as oppsed to the end. I have served probably thousands, with nothing but praise from KC, NC, and Texans all. I have cooked up to 150 lbs of butts on any given occasion, and am ready to go to the next level. Last year, I did multiple parties, and plan on opening shop on the lake next year. SMOKE ON THE WATER. I'm building a new trailer pit, and intent on making this one as near perfect and professional as possible with my amateur skills. I posted a thread on forum with some questions, and would appreciate any help. Thanks for this great site

I was originally from Corning, but was kidnapped at a very young age and turned into a Floridian. A beautiful part of NY many people are unfamiliar with.
