New to smoking. Just got an electric smoker and attempted: chicken (medium and good results), salmon (good but not as expected), and baby backs (one medium and one most excellent result), and pork jerky (back to square one on that- tough and dry).
Welcome to the SMF....you will get the hang of it in no time if you apply techniques picked up here. It's a learning curve for sure, especially with a new smoker to learn the quirks of. The handy dandy search bar will be your friend with numerous threads to read through, with pics, about anything you may care to smoke.
