Hi all,

I've been reading through the forum for a while now and am attempting my first smoke this weekend on a MES30.  I've got some Canadian bacon curing since 1/19, and tonight i'm going to mix together some pepperoni, buffalo chicken and cheddar bacon ranch sticks to try.  Superbowl is at my parents house and i figure that's a good place to get feedback from a variety of tasters.

I grew up in the construction industry and went to school for manufacturing technology and business. For my day job i schedule production for a sandpaper factory. Outside of work i dabble in just about everything.  I own an apt building where i live with a cat, a dog and a few chickens in the yard where i have fruit trees and a garden.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a beautiful and chilly day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome aboard Nick.  The Can. bacon sounds like a winner.  I've done that myself a time or two.

Very interesting, and eclectic group of life experiences you've got going.

Looking forward to hearing more of your smoking ventures.
