Good morning, I am a long time lurker and first time poster. I live and work in the Dallas area, I have been smoking off and on for ten years or so. Currently I am using a crappy electric smoker as my home built monster was stolen when I moved a year ago. I am in the planning stages of building uds with a pid controller. I hope to able to learn a lot on here!

Welcome aboard!  You'll find that this is a great place to share ideas on smoking, grilling, etc.  There are plenty of folks here who genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input, and just ask when you need anything...someone here will surely have the answer.
