My name is Matt and I'm an NCO in the United States Air Force. I have a Char Broil Silver Smoker and would put me above just learning but below well-experienced...
So far I've been smoking beef ribs, a few pork butts and just did my first brisket this past weekend and it was amazing! I am certain this is going to be one of my favorite activities for many years to come.

How to post Qview to Forum:

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Everyone here enjoys seeing the Qview so be sure to post plenty of pics...

Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.

First off welcome Matt to SMF. I was just in Ocean Springs building you guys another great food joint Taco Bell. Have you went to that BBQ joint called "The Shed" if you what did you think?? But anyway You'll like it here cause ther are alot ogood folks here that would just love to help you with anything having to do with smoking. It's nice to have new members here so they can bring a new set of eyes and maybe will see something differant or a way to do something better.
