My name is Paul and this is my first post.

I come upon your website by chance. I was looking for help smoking a Boston Butt. I am very happy to be here but a newbie to smoking my own meat. So far I have done a turkey, pork chops, and brisket all turned out good. The family was happy and full.

I like dry rubs and look forward to trying some suggestions. The only trouble I have so far is finding a pattern to keep the heat steady.

I have used mesquite, apple wood and white oak.

I look forward to sharing my adventures in smoking and maybe making some new Q friends.
