Helly everyone, i want to thank all of you who posted information about smoking pork shoulders and smoking in general. Im in Miami, FL and always loved bbq's in general, untill i went to visit my brother on texas and wow, .... Then i new what real bbq is all about. Anyways, ive real a lot of posts l, and i will be smoking my first meats tomorrow. As a first challenge, im having about 30 people come over and i will attempt to do some pull pork. I was only able to find boston butt in my store. So i will attempt it. I bougjt 3 shoulder of aboiut 8 pounds each. Hopefully its enough. I will commence preparation in the next couple of minutes and probably start my charcoal smoker at around 3 or 4 am. Wish me luck, and any recomendations are more than welcome.
