I am looking forward to contributing to the forums. I will probably have more questions at first than answers, but I love to teach as well as learn. I love to cook, but lately I have been obsessed with my smoker build. Now that I have a little more time, kids are finishing high school and getting ready for college, and when I'm not at work, watching my son play college baseball, my daughter cheer, and doing as my wife tells me to do, I WILL BE BUILDING MY SMOKER!
I am making a reverse flow smoker from a 250 gallon propane tank. I have the tank and still gathering needed materials for firebox and trailer. I want to eventually cook for family, co-worker, clients, church/charities and eventually competitions. Right now, the smoker must be built. I am enjoying the building part as well. I have several young technicians I will be assisting with to help them build their own patio smokers after this build. Just call me Steve. Cheers.
