I've been lurking for a few weeks and so far have gleaned an amazing amount of information on smoking, but I figured I should introduce myself.

My name is Sug Cain (sug, as in sugar). Iron to my name, I follow a paleo/primal way of eating, and smoking seems to fit seamlessly into that lifestyle.

I recently purchased the Smoke Vault 18. Due being insanely busy with work, and outside projects, it sits lonely in it's box, in my garage. However, there is an end in site and I will be smoking copious amounts of meats.

Is anyone else on this forum paleo/primal, or does anyone else try to stick to sustainably raised meats and/or grass-fed and pastured animals?

  Glad to be here.
