Greetings from El Paso, TX.  New to smoking but have been "gas grilling" for years. Having a very hard time deciding which grill to purchase but definitely leaning towards pellet smoker. I've been researching rec tec, yoder, gmg and just about every other company. Can't seem to decide as it isn't a small purchase. Any advice would be great. I guess as of now I am leaning toward rec tec just on price alone.

Welcome, glad ya joined us ! I personally have a GMG Daniel Boone & really enjoy it ! That being said, there's a bunch of nice pellet smokers out there ! GMG does have a sale going on now depending on what size smoker ya get... $25-$100 off ! Good luck with your decision !
