Hey:

Just joined and thought I’d introduce myself.

Live in NC, just purchased a Cabela’s branded Masterbuilt 7 in 1 smoker/grill.  My selection was based on the flexibility of fuel as well as the ability to use as a fryer and the cost ($129 on sale ETA: but some gift cards I had made out of pocket = $0.00) seemed be well aligned to my needs.

I used to have a Brinkmann smoker when I lived in CA. It was well used and didn’t’ make the trek east. I mostly cooked pork shoulder or ribs, and bacon (when I got around to curing some pork belly).

Looking forward to perusing the resources on the site and getting back into it and giving brisket a try as well.
