Just saw this today on the WW Internet. The reviews look good, Seems to be a 1 meat and maybe something else smoker due to the size. Do we have any thoughts on this smoker? I usually do not cook for more than 4 -5 folks when smoking meat, a good amount of leftovers are great. Any words on this cooker?

I have a DC. It is a nice little smoker. I bought it because I cook for 2 most of the time. It will cook a large butt or small brisket. I also have a Memphis Pro and the DC reaches 550 deg much faster than my Pro. I also bought the DC because my gaser died and it's great for burgers and chicken.

Can u use any good pellets or are they green mountain only? I understand that Academy Sporting has a great re-branded named pellet.

I use Camp Chef pellets in my GMG DB & they work great ! $5 a bag cheaper that BBQ Delight or GMG pellets.... At least in my area ! I asked the dealer & he said you can burn any pellet that you like.... I think Traeger, the last I knew anyway will not warranty anything if you don't use the Traeger pellets ! Hope this helps !

I use mostly Cookshack hickory pellets in mine. It's a neat little smoker! I've done everything from grilling to a 13# turkey.
