Great Outdoors Smoky Mountain 3 questions if I may

    Thoughts on electric vs. propane. Can you put wood chunks in the fire box or does it have to be chips? How about brisket? The 16 X 14 seems a little small for brisket.

  2. I use chunks in my Electric (Smokin-It #2) and I have done a full packer brisket in mine as well.  

    I choose electric because it is more set and forget and I also don't need to get propane re-fills

    You can do packer briskets in the smaller GOSM's- you'll have to remove the point from the flat and place them on different shelves.
