That looks like model 3605GD, the big block is model 3605 BGD. It's s little smaller than the big block, but for the price it is well worth it.

Right, Rich.

It's the one I have, and a great buy at $100.

I know many favor the big block, for obvious reasons, but unless you're cooking for a whole lot of people this one will do fine.

Will the one listed, the Waldo World version, handle full racks of ribs without having to cut them in half. I have considered this smoker for those times that I don't want to deal with tending coals and wood, but was concerned that it may not be wide enough for racks of ribs without cutting them.

BTW, the model on the one listed says 3405GW, not 3605GD.

a full rack of BB will fit. but they will lay up to the sides..I just got the Big Block for this reason..and the Big Block seems to be a little better made.

I have the one in the picture and it's a small version. You can do a rack of ribs but you have to trim it and put it in from corner to corner. So if you have a change to get the big block get it but if not the small one is alright worth the 100.00 but I have jad one for about a year and a half. I just bought a new smoke vault 24" model and I have a 9lb whole brisket on right now and a full untrimmed rack of rib would fit on it with no problem. I vote Smoke Vault 24"

I think you can get the BigBlock at BassProShop still. I have the 16" from wally world and would love to have the bigger one for ribs.

For the life of me, I just can't understand the credo of having to fit a full rack of ribs into any smoker. Think about it folks! you're gonna cut them up to eat them anyway. LOL

To each his own....whatever floats your boat, but I just think that's going a little over the top.

I bought the Wally world (LARGE) GOSM and my friend bought the Big Block from Bass Pro. His is better. Better chip box, better water pan, one more rack and more vents.
I am pleased with my purchase BUT, if I could do it again...?
Maybe I'd spend the extra cash. Yea, I would.

I just bought the smallere size used (1 Time) on Craigs List for $35.00. Always check there first as many great buys can be had for a fraction of the retail price...

I have bought all 3 sizes of this smoker..started with the small and now with the Big.
Using the old addage..ShouldaWoodaCouda..spend the xtra Bucks and Buy the BigBlock...its almost well made.
