Good morning everyone,

I am new to the forum but not to smoke. I got an ECB about 5 years ago as a present and I was hooked. I smoked (well tried) every thing I could on it. Since then I have designed and built some of my own smokers. My first one was a 55 gallon drum and after some extra modifications it ran great. Until one day my girlfriend's co-worker asked me to smoke a brisket. Well that gave me a reason to build my next smoker. That I made from an old 40 gallon air tank I had laying around. But after smoking two turkeys on it last thanksgiving, I decided it was a little too small. So my latest build is a 3ft diameter by 5ft long reverse flow. I will be posting pictures of both "back yard" builds in the photos. I hope to learn a lot from you guys because I am still learning..

Happy Smoking!

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a on and off rainy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Nice Looking Smoker, Glad you joined the group

Welcome to SMF. Nice looking build you got there. I lived in Columbia and across the river in Wrightsville nine years. Worked for the PO on HSBG Pike and when I became a Chef, opened and managed Lyndon Cityline Dinner. Soon as I get my NJ house sold I will be back to PA...JJ

I do have more pictures of the builds. But i am not sure where to post them. Could some one give me some advice on where to post them.

Thanks in advance
