Hello all. Stumbled onto this forum a few days ago. I've already learned alot from you guys. Finally got all the kiddos raised and now am hoping to devote more time to my q. Being a native texan my favorite things to smoke are brisket, sausage, pork ribs, and chicken. Mesquite is my favorite when I can get it. I use a brinkman cimarron.

Sweetdreams, I lived in Kansas for almost 4 years. I had a banker friend that was also from the same area in Texas. Whenever either of us came home, we brought back a load of mesquite. You know how tight bankers are, I promise you, he could squeeze the last ember from a mesquite fire.

Dave:

Nice to have you on board. Take a look at Jeffs 5 Day eCourse. It is full of good information. The left hand margin has a ton of good Articles as well. Just dive in. If you have questions, post them in the appropriate thread and someone will give you a hand, in no time.
