That's right. I'm smokin' chicken. It's in the brine now.

Relaxin'.........

A touch of salt, pepper, garlic, onion, sugar....and water.......

I decided to offer these birds some companions. As the evening goes on, I'll be takin' those little friends back, one at a time. Anyone care for a cold one?

Have a great weekend all!

One thing I meant to ask about your brine. I noticed you are using a metal pot. I have always heard to not use a metallic container. I'm not sure the reason. Have you ever noticed anything different?

Lee, this container is stainless steel. It's never been a problem in the past. I don't leave it in there long. Maybe 3 hours.

I like your fridge! Liquid love and smoking meat! How did the yogurt get in there?

LOL

Take care, have fun, and do good!

Regards,

Meowey

ROFLMAO!!!

I noticed it too and thought, well that Activa stuff is supposed to get the pipes moving again. Probably a good thing to have on hand when you ate too much the night before!

LOL, AJ. It's not mine! I swear!

Here's an update of the smoke going on today.

Chicken is rubbed and ready...

Going on the smoker...

Another pic...

And here is a pic of my work/play area for the afternoon. Cold beer, nice breeze, sunshine, and smoke in the air. Life is good!

Kev-
Nice chicken!

Lee
You need to use a non reactive pot, not aluminum, tin or copper. Stainless is good for just about anything!
