I make pickles all the time, never done bread and butter but have made dill. limed, sweet, cubed, relishes etc. Love them in fresh salads and sandwiches. Good luck and take a picture or two for us.
yup,,,don't have a recipe...I just take dill pickles, make a brine out of vinegar, sugar, and pickling spice to taste, place in frig for at least a week(if you can keep your hands off em)
we always make Garlic dills, I tried making B&B pickles b4 I did something wrong...LOL, but I did find a recipe from "Emril" that was a sweet hot pickle, and they were killer!
