Well I have a walleye fishing tournament this Thursday, Friday & Saturday on Ottertail Lake in Ottertail, MN and I decided to make some fatty's for the rookies. And I also figured I should throw on some ribs for them as well. Four of us are going to be staying in a cabin and the rest of the guys have never seen or eaten a fatty before in their life. I figured I would throw on two breakfast fatty's when I get there tomorrow night (Wed) and then smoke ribs for them Thursday night as well before our captains meeting. These guys are in for a treat and they don't even know it. I told them I would bring some smoked stuff to snack on since they have been hearing about all my smoking this year but they have now clue whats in store for them. Fatty's for breakfast each morning, smoked chicken legs, BB ribs tomorrow night and if they are lucky I might throw in a package of smoked salmon. I am hoping they will be very happy and I can show my buddy that has a BGE and says is way better then my UDS that I can hold my own agains his UDS. He isn't bringing his BGE because its way to heavy. Thats half the reason I decided to go with a UDS instead of a BGE was because I can bring my UDS where ever I go. Wish me luck on my walleye tournament and inpressing the guys. We ended up taking 10th last year out of 100+ some boats so hopefully this year will be better. Hopefully I can get some qview of the smokes for you guys. But either way I will report back with what the fishing buddies say about the smokes.
