What kind of pellets ya running thru your GMG ? What temps ya run generally ? I have a DB model & it's pretty conservative on pellets !

I'm running JB. I use perfect mix pellets.I did 6 pork butts. 3 on my gmg and 3 on a traeger. Same temp and used almost twice as much. I like my gmg way better then my other ones just wondering if anyone else has the same problem with the jim bowie grill

How does the size of your GMG compare to the others?  Bigger grill means more surface area to lose heat from.  I would consider running the winter cover all year long.

Does the system temperature correspond to an independent thermometer?  Something may be off here.

Are vents/Chimneys adjusted the same way?  I would think more airflow through the system would use more fuel.
