My name in Jonathan, I'm from Fort Collins Colorado. I am 34, have 4 kids and have been married 11 years. I love grilling and dehydrating and have convinced my wife to let me give smoking a try! :)
I am considering a Masterbuilt 30" because I am new to the craft, and my wife likes the look and ease (so we've read) of the Bradley smokers as well. Nothing purchased yet, but excited to get something and start smoking this spring!!!!

Hey can you fit a turkey in your 40"? My wife wants me to learn how to smoke well enough before the fall so that I can smoke our turkey this year!

Welcome from Canada, Jonathan.

I am a Bradley owner. I got it to avoid constant filling with chips like the MES. But after finding this forum, I learned about A-Maze-N Pellet Smokers which mean you can get hours of smoke in a MES too. I like my Bradley and use pucks and the pellet smoker for different uses but there are a lot of happy MES smokers.

Hi Jonathan. I have a Bradley 4 rack digital and am very happy with it. Seemed to hold heat pretty well this winter. Biggest issue is with wind so I built a small wind break that I sit on top, over the vent, also makes a convenient place to hang my thermometer transmitter. Also stick a 4" piece of PVC over the puck feed tube when the wind gets up in the 20 mph range. If you get a Bradly pm me and I'll send photos of my wind fixes.
