Hello all,

I live in Garland, TX and for the most part, I have grilled with gas.  Mostly because it seemed easier to me.  For the past couple of years, however, I have been wanting to do some smoking.  I bought a Brinkmann vertical smoker and it is adequate for some things, but now I am looking to upgrade.  I am excited to see what others have done and take any pointers or advice that any one has to offer.  I will also share my triumphs as well when they happen.  Let's do some smokin'!

Share your triumphs as well as the failures....  everyone needs to know how "NOT" to do stuff..... Take pictures (Q-Views)....  they are mandatory....   looking at food is second only to eating it....  enjoy the long smokey ride....
