Hi everyone, I'm glad to have joined.  I'm relatively new to smoking meat but over the past few years I've "figured out" pulled pork and chicken.  I'm doing my first brisket this weekend and trying ribs again so I thought I'd join.  I'm in Florida, I use both a vertical charcoal smoker and a charcoal grill that I convert to a smoker when I'm doing bigger cuts of meat.  Favorite wood is hickory.  I'll let you know how the brisket goes!

Welcome to the forum!  Looking forward to that brisket smoke!  Share it in the beef section.

Welcome! I am relatively new to smoking too. I did a pork tenderloin last week, which came out awesome for my first run with a smoker in over 20 years. Never done brisket. Good luck!
