Been a fan of smoked foods for a while, finally got around to making some. I'm in Hazlet, NJ. Picked up a Masterbuilt 30" (the black one, without the window in the door), and I've got an AMNPS coming tomorrow. I've got the smoker seasoning now, house smells great, but I wish there were some meat in it...

Good morning and welcome to the forum, congrats on the new smoker. When you say your house smells great I assume that is because you left the patio door open.

What, you're not supposed to use these in the living room? :)

(don't worry, it's out back on the deck)

After I "seasoned" it (figuring what the heck, it's already hot) I threw some chicken drums, thighs and wings and some turkey drums in there for a few hours, came out great! Hoping the rain stops today so I can get some ribs into it later, and maybe some brisket if I can figure out how to use the AMNPS with it.
