Colorado and Kansas
Hello! Glad to join the forum.

I am from Kansas City originally, home of the American Royal World Series of BBQ! I was part sponsor of a team for a few years and the BBQ bug bit me! I am starting out with a Masterbuilt 30in electric smoker. Looking forward to learning from all the members in the forum. Been told to start with pork and then progress to beef, so I am doing that.

Our family raises Angus and Hereford beef in Colorado. Our beef is grass-fed, so I am also looking to learn how to smoke a leaner cut and have it turn out well. Any suggestions for smoking leaner, grass fed beef are welcome!!

Nothing beats smoking your own meat!

Thanks!

Thanks -- we try our best! If I can figure out how to smoke lean grass fed beef, I'll never leave the house!

Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.
