Hi Guys, long time lurker first time poster. I just bought a Masterbuilt Electric smokehouse (actually, i bought two of them because i found a great deal on the 41 inch only days before UPS delivered the 30 inch model - but il leave that conundrum for another post.. )
Back in my college days I had a little charcoal water smoker (brinkman) and iaside from the painfully small access door, t worked great until it rusted away and toppled. Back then i really didnt have any great resources through which to learn new recipes so I really only cooked up the limited number of foods that came on the back of the manual. anyway these days Ive got a family to feed (well, the two little ones are still happy eating mac-n-cheese so I cant really say their culinary pallets are as ready for this adventure as me and the wife's). That all said I am hoping to learn a few tjhings, try many more, and maybe show off a little grill-skill at the next family get-to-gether.
